Spring Weather Observations

We have been working on our Outdoor Hour Challenge  - it seems that one lil guy wants to do it when the other is engrossed in an  activity. It has been nice – as I get to have quiet one on one attention to hear their thoughts.

We have previously posted pics of the lake waves, here is why we think they are amazing, almost every morning the view from the window looks like this -

IMG_3805 IMG_3808       We took some time to walk around the deck observing each area and how it has changed this spring – the water is crystal clear - IMG_3810IMG_3811IMG_3812

Jon liked how the lines made different colors in the water from dipping his toes. – he asked me to take a photo.

Then we walked the edge of the yard looking at all of the growth and found this little guy -

How extremely blessed we feel to have this time to enjoy the lake!

We sat on the dock and filled out our journal pages with Date, Location,  Sunrise/Sunset, Low Tide/High Tide, Time, Temperature, dClouds, Precipitation, Wind Speed/Direction and then drew a spring picture of what we saw.  Strangely enough, both boys drew pictures of the fish under the lake talking about whose bait to eat. . . . .
